I did this for =daggerpoint's contest and actually finished her about a week ago, but needed to wait until I could come up with a good description before I could post her, since that was a key part of the contest rules. I decided to go with a kind of magazine article/interview deal, candid sidebar stuff, since the character is kind of famous for knowing people who are famous, rather than actually doing anything spectacularly meaningful or job-related herself.
So here it is. A little trip inside Solita's world.
* EDIT - Download a Solita Windows desktop here: [link]
** EDIT 2 - I WON! Yay! Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me, and to = daggerpoint for putting on the contest!

SOLITA PAIGE AT BAR SIX by Gristle McThornbody
MANHATTAN, NY - While scamming the crowd at Bar Six this weekend, this reporter ran into socialite and kinetic beauty Solita Paige, blatantly kept girlfriend of [name withheld], Chairman and CFO of [company name withheld]. We sat at one of the narrow tables and got to chatting over our respective beverages; iced tea for her - she doesn't drink - and a whiskey sour for me.
GM: So, Ms. Paige. You're known by the pink streak in your hair, and the pink color of your eyes. Are those natural or cosmetic traits?
SP: What do you think? GM: They're definitely not common, either way. Sources say you've never been seen without them.
SP: I didn't know I'd been watched that closely. It's just what I look like. An eye, a dress, it's all the same. Some pieces change day to day, some don't. GM: Your style is something else you're marked for. How do you put together your look?
SP: I wake up in the morning and I look at my day, what I have planned. I think about who I'm going to see and what they've seen recently. It's formulaic, and not hard. When you start with a good foundation of beautiful pieces, day to day comes together pretty easily. Accessories are important, too. Details are what make the difference. GM: Maybe it's a knack.
SP: Maybe. GM: It's been said that pink is your signature color.
SP: Pink is a very feminine color, and one that I personally have an emotive response to. Some shades make me feel powerful and fierce, others soft and sweet. I think it's only practical to use that to its fullest advantage when dressing for success. GM: Would you say you're a party girl?
SP: I'd say I like to go to parties. I like high energy places, crowds, noise. Clubs or concerts. Have you ever been on the trading floor of the New York stock exchange? It's pretty sexy. But it's not the only thing I like. GM: People call you a good luck charm.
SP: Do they? GM: Some of the men you've been with suggest you've brought them good fortune. Your friends report finding money in their pockets they didn't have before after spending time with you, and getting promotions they thought they'd blown.
SP: [laughs] There's no such thing as luck. GM: What's with the skeleton key and the lock pick set on your arm?
SP: It's symbollic. GM: Of what?
SP: Unlocking doors. GM: Do you ever use it?
SP: Which? GM: Either.
SP: The skeleton key unlocks something in particular, but I can't say what. The lock pick set was a gift from an old friend. I don't use it anymore. GM: Oh. Where do you go after this?
SP: I have a bikini wax. GM: Does that hurt as bad as people make it sound, or is there a trick?
SP: Lay me down, spread my legs, slap it on, and rip it off. There’s no such thing as a painless bikini wax, just a fast one.
nice description,"SP: Lay me down, spread my legs, slap it on, and rip it off. There’s no such thing as a painless bikini wax, just a fast one. " saw that comment in a magazine the other day She looks great. I love the colors. Very sexy pose. Good luck winning!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
